Hi, I would like to give suggestions for cTrader MACD with Alert bot if possible.
Instead of time periodically re-arming alert, I suggest it would be better if there is an option that the alert will only triggered when the crossover happens or the histrogram cross zero line, so it could eliminate noisy alerts or false/late signal.
I did some test on XAUUSD pair, I choose the option "histogram greater/less than zero line" only,
and I calculated that the average time gap between a MACD crossover to another (the reverse) in M15 time-frame around 3-4 hours,
or around 30 minutes in M1 (if we want to do scalping when the market is sideways in higher time frame), but sometimes it happens earlier and sometimes later, so there some circumstances that the alert re-armed too early or too late.
May the option I suggested would make this strategy even better.
