cTrader MACD Robot With Alerts

I just started a free trial of the product. I seem to have a bug/issue (but was asked by support to write a bug report) that alerts keep coming in. In the product documentation, there was an option to turn it off for X amount of minutes.

In my version, this doesn't seem to be there. See screenshots.

I keep getting a repeat of the messages, essentially making the signal useless.

I know I am supposed to post other stuff, please ask me if you need more details. I am simply new to all the software and I dont know how to get to logs and stuff like that

Hi, Martijn,

It looks fine to me, the re-arm feature will rea-arm the alert system every 15 minutes which it did according to your logs, for a daily timeframe I would re-arm every 24-hours.

What Does The Re-Arming Feature Do?
The MACD may signal a bullish or bearish signal many times over a period of time, so to prevent you receiving multiple alerts or opening many positions, you can set a time delay to wait until it starts to monitor for signals again.

Hi thanks for the response. The first screenshot is from product documentation. According to that I would completely understand what is happening. And I would indeed change it to a time that makes sense in relation to the timeframe we are looking at.

However my ACTUAL setup is screenshot number 2. I simply can opt IN or OUT of Re-arm alert. I am not able to set any time for it. It looks like this is pre-programmed to be 15 minutes which might be the default setting still.

So I currently have no way but receive a signal every 15 minutes, making it useless

My apologies, I see the issue now, I remember an update was published due to customer requests, this update was not completed. We have reverted back to the version as advertised on the product page, you can now download another trial version and test it correctly. If you wish to extend your trial period, just send your machine key that you see on the welcome screen to sales@clickalgo.com

I re-downloaded and reinstalled. It said it already excisted, do I want to overwrite, or something to that extend. I clicked YES but once its installed, I still get the same screen as posted ( without possibility to change that timing). Do I need to uninstall something first (if so, how?) or is there something else I'm missing?

I would remove the cbot first - https://clickalgo.com/removing-indicators-cbots
Then install the new one, when you start it, look at the cBot log tab and you should see the image below, make sure you remove all instances, this is why it's best to delete first, also restart cTrader.

Ignore the last update date, we rolled back to the previous good build.

I deleted all as instructed, restarted cTrader. Redowloaded the file again. But upon first inspection, it looks to be exactly the same file. As in exact same name, size, and date as the one I originally downloaded. I figured maybe the date doesnt mean anything and the change in code is so small it wouldn't be a byte different in size. Anyway, installed it, I still have the same options and the same issue.

Please give me a direct link to the older, supposedly working, version.

Got a question about the new version that I had issues with before. What if I were to simply uncheck the re-arm box. Would that mean after a signal the alert would be turned off until it is manually turned on again?
