Risk Reward Tool v2.4.1 Illegal Call

Hi Folks

I'm using cTrader 4.7.9 the Risk Reward Tool v2.4.1 and I'm getting the following errors

Also it was not working at all. I found an earlier bug report about toggling the <market> button a few times. If I toggled the button it worked ok, also there where no errors in the log when it wasn't working.

Hey a bit of background, I just started doing some trading today after a long break, that is why I hadn't found this when the tool was last updated.

Thanks for responding so quickly

No I'm not using Beta, as far as I know, see image below where I have high lighted the version. Its the Spotware cross broker platform which I have been using since it was first released. Its running on Win10.

I'm only using a demo account at the moment to get myself back in the swing of things.

I start up the 3 bots, see bottom left of image, I also have the chart analysis saver bot running.

RR Tool settings.
I had to manually enter the currency, there was a glyph of some sort in there when I first opened it up.

Using the risk reward tool.
I select either the up or down arrow and set up the SL and TP where I would like them.
When I'm ready to place a trade I select either buy/sell button.
I cant be certain but off the top of my head I had maybe 2-3 attempted trades today that failed where I had selected the buy/sell button and nothing happened, and I couldn't see any messages in the log about a failed trade.

After I spotted the earlier bug report, I toggled the <market> button and I was able to get an order placed.

Below is the log with error messages either side of the successful trade. There is probably more than 100 of those error messages, and on 2 occasions I thought cTrader had crashed, it white screened for about 10 - 15 seconds and then recovered.

The Advanced Protection tool has the default settings with the exception that I have logging turned on and I have a trailing stop set.

The bug I found was when you opened the settings window and made a change, the Market tool order placed a pending order setup, this is why you cannot submit a market order trade, you can fix this for now, by clicking on the order button until you return to the market order option. I will fix it and publish an update soon.

Regarding the warnings, I could not duplicate them, please test the risk and reward tool without any other cBots running like the advanced protection to see if the problem is being created elsewhere, possibly the data logger or advanced tools.

You will also need to delete the cBot instances and create new ones of the Risk & Reward Tool to clear the cache as well as cycle through the order button back to the order you wish to use.

UPDATE PUBLISHED v2.4.2

I have just published an update that fixes the issue with orders not being submitted due to the charting tool showing incorrect order types. In the cBot log, you should see the following text for the latest update.

Version 2.4.2, last updated 11.05.2023 - minor update.

Illegal Call Warnings
I have tested this for 1 hour using the same setup with the advanced protection cBot and there were no warning messages, there could be an issue with the data logger cBot, did you download this from our site and if so can you provide a link to the page.

I think its this download. I have checked all my downloads and this is the closest I can see in download date.

Here it is in my downloads.

I have a strange feeling that I posted a question on telegram about the tool some time ago, and if my memory serves me correctly it was written by Spotware and you guys where making it available on your site. Not 100% sure it was that tool but it was one of the ones I'm using. I tried searching the Telegram channel but I cant seem to get just my posts.
