cTrader Switchback - Friday Stop

Hi ClickAlgo team,

I'm writing to you because I need some help, I've noticed that the "Friday stop" it's quite failing and I'm not sure if this is related to the code itself or the way the code interprets my time zone. I'm located in Sydney Australia, and at the beginning, I setted the Ctrader time zone to UTC/GMT +11 hours (which matches my time zone) but like a month ago I changed it to UTC+0 (server time). It turns out that the robot is failing on both settings. The main problem for me is that the robot is not closing the open positions in the time I chose (this of course, is considering the time zone selected).
Would it be possible to review this tool and have an update for it? or if you have any suggestion or idea about how to fix it or why its failing, I would really appreciate it.
I'm about to switch to Live and I would feel way more comfortable knowing that the robot manages itself to close position with the "Friday stop" tool.

Hi, Rami, you need to use your PC UTC setting if you wish to set the trading hours, so for your location, it needs to be UTC+11. you would only need to use UTC+0 if you were to run a backtest as this is the server time.

Please set your cTrader UTC time to the same as your PC time and try again as the system uses your PC time and not the UTC setting on the platform.

I ran a backtest and its working fine with these settings:

Include Friday stop - YES
Trading stop - 17:15
Close open positions - YES

As you can see all open positions closed and the cBot instance stopped trading on Friday and started again on Monday.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply, I've been looking at the link you post and I find out what was wrong. Now I can see the "Robot Stopped for weekend" log.
Looking to the Log I just find another issue, maybe you can help me to find the solution as well. After the "Robot Stopped for weekend" log the robot closes all the open position (which is what I wanted). But I noticed doing the backtest that one minute after the last position closed it opens a new one, and this new position remains open all the weekend until Monday when the robot close it because it was open more than 24 hs. (if the position was loosing). What can I do to fix this and guarantee that the robot will only start on the following Monday?

I let you this picture to exemplify what I mean.
