How to use Custom Indicator in Cbot?

Hi, I have custom indicator but I realized that 'index' was using in calculation section, and I cant directly use it in the onbar() section, or I have been wrong since the beginning by putting calculation part into onbar() section ? could anyone please help or giving me suggestion how should I slot in my custom indicator and logic into Cbot?

You can get the current index from the onBar method, you can also set it in the onCalculate to a global variable and read this in the onBar method.

Thanks for replying me Mike, I have found out how to link our custom indicator in to our cbot, we cant directly refer it because we haven't tick the custom indicator in "Manage References" on top of the bar

You need the source code for the indicator to reference it, this is for custom indicators.
You do not need to add a ref. for in-built indicators
