Restarting Neptune robots

In regards to the Neptune robots if they have trades open and you stop the robots to input the new parameters for the month, will the Neptune robots take back control when they are restarted. My follow up question is by changing the parameters does this change the exit conditions the open trades must meet.

Otherwise as it is recommended that you update the parameters once a month you would need to wait for a robot to have no trades open before you could update the parameters.

If you have trades open and then you stop the robot, modify the settings and restart the robot will continue to manage the open positions with the new settings, new exit and entry rules will take over.

I would optimise your settings and simply stop the robot and load the new ones in even if you have existing trades open, so you can do this anytime.

One last question, does the same apply if you have to completely close cTrader to for example, update the program?

Hi, Will, yes, the same applies, the only issue you may have is that certain targets may be missed if you take too long changing the settings.
