ATR Trailing Stop loss Problem

Hello, I purchased ATRTrailingStopLoss, and I can't understand why it only updates the stop for trades opened before activating the bot. If I open a position after activating the bot, no stop loss is set or updated with ATR. The parameters for trailing are identical to the ATR indicator.

I ran with the same settings and opened a buy and sell after the cBot was running without stop losses, a new stop loss was created as shown below. I also opened 2 trades with stop losses and they were updated correctly to trail the ATR.

According to your settings, the stop loss will not be updated until the close of the candle (bar).

I'm not sure, I've tried other settings as well, it doesn't update. I've also tried removing the default stop loss I use with Ctrader. In theory, even if I open the trade from my smartphone and the bot is active on VPS, it should place the stop loss order, right?

I would first open the trade manually on your VPS to test, if it works then you know there is an issue placing orders using a mobile device and you will need to contact Spotware.

I've tried it on both VPS and my home PC, and the same issue persists.

I've tried it with both my broker's Ctrader platform and the official Ctrader, but it doesn't place the Stoploss order. I have to deactivate and reactivate the bot to get it to place the bracket order.

I just found the error below with the indicator, this may be why the stop loss is not being placed.

It looks like the bug was introduced with a recent update of cTrader for the indicator that is used with the cBot.

I will investigate tomorrow and fix this for you, the post has been updated to an open bug.

Regular market order, default settings, I only changed the color of the line from green to yellow on ATR. That's it.
I am using version 4.8.28.

I have opened both a long and a short position, and ATR is below the current price. Is it normal that a stop-loss order has not been placed for the short position?

I have noticed that on some assets, it delays in placing the stop-loss.

After 2 minutes, the only brackets it has inserted were on the NASDAQ

yes, its normal, it will only trail depending if the ATR is above or below. there can also be a delay in setting the initial stop loss, if you set the onBar close parameter to yes, it will wait until the candle closes.

I will open 3 charts with different symbols and attach the ATR cBot to each one and open a trade for each chart to see the result.
