NEPTUNE EURJPY vs NEWS MANAGER

Dear Sirs,

I've got the NEPTUNE EURJPY bot and when I set both News Manager parameters to YES I get the error messages as stated in the bots log. When I set the parameters to NO the bot runs normally.

I've uploaded the log and the News Manager botset plus the NEPTUNE botset.

Thank you, this is a known warning message due to the news manager cBot not being set up, you will need to do this for the news setting to work.

We are also going to update the Neptune trading robots soon to remove this warning and remove the need for full access for the cBot.

I can see from the News Manager settings you have not downloaded the news file csv from myfxbook and run the cBot, if it was successful you would have seen all the news events in the log.

Try this first and let me know if you are still getting the warning. Thanks for the report.

The News Manager is set up correctly, please see the uploaded log file.

On the same cTrader instance I've also got the EURUSD bot running without any problems.

Have you tested if the news manager works for the EURJPY?

Hello Sophia, I'm still having problems with the news manager, not only on EURJPY but also USDJPY. WIth the news manager parameters turned off I don't get these messages.

These are just warnings, not errors, Sophia has already said that the warnings will be removed in a future update.
