News Manager Trial not registering 🫤

Mmm, not my lucky day...

First installation, the News Manager doesn't register/verify license and, even before that, it warns me that the CSV file is not present but, yes, it's in the proper folder (Documents\cAlgo\Data\cBots\ClickAlgo News Manager Trial)

Can you guys confirm that the bot is working correctly on your side?

Thank you for reporting this, we are upgrading our licensing system, so we expect a few teething problems, this should be fixed by Monday, try again later and it should work.

It looks like the registration is working now, thanks.

I still have the problem of bot not finding the CSV file but I just noticed that MyFxBook doesn't export the full period I choose (1 or 2 months) and it keeps exporting like this month only (from 1st to today).

Damn... Need to investigate.

EDIT: yep, it only exports ONE month of data. Damn, no optimization and/or backtest then for me. 😑

Update: The bot loads the CSV and APPARENTLY the licence verification process (trial version) completes without problems.

Shortly after, the bot says that the verification has timed out and it stops.

Just so you know.

Its a bug and we are working on it now.

An update has been published which fixes this issue and uses the new cTrader integrated licensing system using your ctrader ID, this allows you to install a product on multiple computers for your account. There is also no need for full access.

the new version is 2.1.1 as shown in the cBot log and you can download a new trial again from the product page.

EDIT: the product page still says it's the old version BUT if I dowload it, it's the new one indeed. Should I download new versions for all the products I'm using (Trial and Paid)? I expected a mail to warn me. 😅

the product page has not been updated yet, you can download the updates now, check in the cbot log for the latest version.

You mean, every bot says in the log if there's a new version available? Woot, that's advanced technology (and a bit of magic).
