cTrader News Manager Integration

Hi, I would like to understand something. I downloaded Economic Events On Chart, installed it and it shows me the horizontal lines on the graph that correspond to the news automatically. Perfect . I purchased "cTrader News Trade Manager", installed it, registered (it always asks me to register every time I press "play"!?!?).. it asks me for news. I read the instructions and they explain that the .csv file is needed to download. But the two programs don't communicate with each other? my goal is to display the lines on the chart, block my EA (I also downloaded cAlgo API)... all automatically. is it possible?

Hi, Gabri,

I tested the latest version and it does not request license verification on each start, make sure you are using the latest version, you will see it in the cBot log using cTrader Automate as below. you can download the update here.

News Manager 2.1.2, NET 6 & silent license check & cTID integration, last updated 28.02.2024

The News manager is required for some of our automated trading robots, it will not work with the Economic Events On Chart indicator. You can also integrate it into your trading robots to manage news events.

You will need to contact a developer or use our custom development service to integrate the news events into your cBots.

You can also use the API and the news manager you have purchased to control your cBots, nothing is shown on the chart, and you will receive Telegram alerts. You will still need to code this implementation.

ok, I integrated the API into my ea.. everything works correctly.
One thing I still haven't figured out is whether I have to update the news file myself from myfx or it does it on its own. because the "economic events on chart" indicator that I always downloaded from you has a link in the parameters that downloads them alone... while the "ClickAlgo news manager" bot you have to load the file manually... (which does not have makes a lot of sense..)

You need to download the news file at least weekly or as much news as possible.

The News Manager cBot and the economic events on the chart indicator are two different products and not related.

Thanks for your answer. In Italy we say "it's always 1 to 31"... but why? you've already done one program.. you've done the other one.. merge them.. mha! ..I'll invent something to do it myself
