Smart Grid Trading Strategy No Trades

I have a Smart Grid Trading strategy running live on EURGBP.
The broker is LiteFinance. I am using the same parameter set used in the trial version.

Q1) Doesn’t the red button mean real-time transaction execution?
Q2) What does the red line mean?
Q3) What does the green line mean?
Q4) If the red line crosses over the green line, will an entry transaction take place?

I haven't seen a single trade from March 5th to today March 7th.
The frequency of transactions is different from when you use the trial version.

It looks like you need to first learn about the cTrader trading platform, most of your questions relate to an understanding of cTrader.

The red button is part of the platform for starting and stopping cBots.
The red and green lines are the bid and ask price lines.

You can find information for the cTrader platform in the user guide.

If you have any questions on how to use the cTrader platform you can request help on their support forum.

Regarding the Smart Grid trading system, you can find information on the strategy in the user guide. Trades will open and close based on your settings and which indicators and risk features you choose.

Depending on your settings trades might not open for many days or weeks, if you want me to take a look for you please share your cBot settings.

You can also run a backtest from the 5th of March to the 7th of March to see if there were any trades.

These results are still good, they gave 10 winning trades between 5-7th March as shown below.

I ran the backtest with FxPro with a fixed spread of 0.5 pips, can you also run a backtest using your broker?

Can you also find out the spread your broker charges for EURGBP?

If you get no results in a backtest, export your cBot log after the backtest and upload it as a file here.

I did a backtest as you suggested. As a result, the equity curve was created as shown below.

At this time, I tested from March 5th to March 7th.

I am attaching the first part (because of limit of file size) of log file. Looking at the file,

What is the spread for EURGBP for your broker, this could be the issue.

Use a different broker like IC Markets and run a backtest, I feel this is a broker issue.

Run a backtest in tick data, and see how may trades run and what it says in the log. If the issue is with spread, this will show as a tick data backtest using historical market data including the spread.

I appreciate your comment. I currently have a standard account of LiteFinance. The current spread is said to be 19 to 21. So I requested LiteFinance to change to an ECN account. It is said that ECN accounts have small spreads.

That is why you are having problems, the settings need a spread between 0.0 and 1

I did a back-test as you told me.
At this time, I selected Tick data from Server (accurate) in Data.

The result was that no transaction took place.

I said in my last message what the problem is, your spread is much larger than your settings. The settings were optimised for a broker with a spread of 0.0 to 1. The settings are just examples to help customers, they are not to be used for trading.

To use this system, you need to learn how to optimise the parameters.

If your broker can open an account where the spread is the normal value of 0-1 pip, you can use the settings with that.

Thank you very much for your kind explanation.
I back-tested with tick data from March 5th to March 7th with IC Markets broker. As a result, I ended up with 18 trades being executed. Therefore, I found out that there is a problem with the spread of the LiteFinance broker you mentioned. I requested an ECN account (this is said to have a small spread) from the LiteFinance broker.

And, I compared IC Markets' chart with LiteFinance's 1h chart. However, the two brokers are showing different prices (Open, High, Low, Close) and volume.
Here are two charts and data are marked on the left-bottom boxes.

Is this(price difference) possible?
Shouldn't the two 1h data be the same?

I switched to IC Markets as a broker.
However, the Smart Grid strategy appears as a trial version on IC Markets.
I would like to replace the trial version with the one I purchased in the IC Markets.
