Waddah Attar trading system ATR Stop loss

Hi All,

I am struggling to work out what setting i'm missing for the use of the ATR as the stop loss when using the WAE Trading system.
I am using the following settings:
However, i've noticed that for example this buy trade is not closed when it falls back below the ATR line which should act as the stop loss.

So as above, I have aligned the indicator settings to the WAE bot ATR settings.
However, we see that for this buy trade, when price hits the ATR, it is not closing the trades on multiple occasions

Yes indeed, I downloaded it from clickalgo- i renamed it but yes this is the indicator

the settings above are not the same as your cBot indicators settings or did you change them?

Then when we see price drop below the ATR line it disappears (the stop line) and the trade continues

There is a bug with the indicator, this was fixed a long time ago, maybe the update did not get published, the cBot logs shows:

08/02/2022 02:30:00.000 | Crashed in Calculate with ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Specified argument was out of the range of valid values. Parameter name: y. Actual value was: NaN.

So i see the latest version i downloaded was Updated on 14/11/2023 with version 1.2.1
Is there a newer one?

It looks like the update did not get published,

The WAE cBot may also be using the old version, this will need updating and publishing, will do this today, are you using a paid or trial version?

I must be I think with 1.2.1. Do you have the link for 2.0.0 please?

Thank you so much sir, appreciate it. Could you please let me know once the latest WAE cBot and ATR indicator are published?

I have found the bug, ran a quick test and it seems to be working now, the trades closes when the price drops above/below the ATR line.

Will publish an update now, give it one hour and download both the indicator and the WAE cBot from your account downloads.

Hi Mike,

I have downloaded the new v2.0.0 for both WAE cbot and ATR indicator.
However, I'm seeing the same behavior

It looks like you are still using the old indicator, the green labels on the right should not show, show me the cBot log

this will show the versions of the indicator and cBot
