Risk reward tool pop up window issue

The risk reward tool does not work correctly when attached to multiple charts.

When first attaching the tool, it will not enter trades, the button functionality does not work ie there is no click event occurring. I have to close it down, reattach it, and revalidate the tool before it will enter trades.
The tool will not enter trades on a chart (GBP / USD chart) when the tool is already attached to another chart ( EUR/USD chart )and is working. (Attached to a chart and able to enter trades with the tool).
PS. I have the paid for version

You need to first open the drawing tool, select your order type and then submit an order, depending on your settings, a trade might not open. You can start the cBot using cTrader Automate and look in the log tab for any errors.

Can you provide the symbol you are trading, a screenshot of your settings and the steps you are following to submit an order? This will help me find out what is going on.

This tool will only allow a single buy-and-sell trade per chart, you can find more information below.

I ran a test using the tool on 2 charts both with and without the same symbol, I managed to open trades without any issues, if you are using the same symbol you need to change the instance name or it will not work.

Another reason for not opening trades could be trade size, trade setup or account issues, the cBot log should tell you what's wrong.

Hi, I realized the issue, for each attachment of the tool, you need to create a different instance label of the attachment.

I need to reopen this ticket, I am still having the same issues. I have followed the installation guide, I have tried different labels of instances and I am still getting the same issue if there is an instance of the tool running, the tool will not enter a trade on a different currency pair

As you can see I did in fact change the instance label of the attached RR tool, it worked on the first instance, but in the second attachment, there was no response when clicking the buttons

Thanks, I will take a look.

Can you do me a favour and use cTrader Automate and add cBot instances instead, have the cBot log tab open and when you get the error the information should be shown in the log. if you could either take a screenshot of the log or upload the log as a text file.

can you also take a screenshot of the settings window and tell me which symbol you are trading?

You have a last swing high/low error on your first chart.

have you got a step guide to use the ctrader automate and adding instances of the cbot , I am not too familiar with ctrader

On the left of cTrader you will see a link called Automate, click on this

Make sure you select the cBot tab and find the clickalgo risk reward tool

You can add a cBot instance by right-clicking your mouse on the cBot or clicking on the + sign.

To save the cBot log follow the instructions below.

Make sure you provide the symbol and a screenshot of your settings panel, this helps duplicate your issue.

I am 100% sure that your problem is a pop up window hidden behind your other windows.

download a trial of the version below which uses cTraders inbuilt pop up windows, if you are happy with it, you can exchange the product, there is no GUI, but you can use cBot parameters instead.

Did you close all windows to see if there was a popup, I am sure this is your problem.

I have followed the same steps as you and had the same problem because a popup window was hidden, when I closed this window everything was fine.

Thanks Mike, that seems to be the issue, thank you for letting me know. Maybe on the next update they could sort that out so that it is always visible even when the platform is maximised
