Using ClickAlgo One Click Terminal & Advanced Protection Bot Together

Having had a conversation with Paul on this issue, he suggested I post here. I am using cTrader with IC Markets, and want to use the ClickAlgo One Click Terminal (OCT) and Advanced Protection (AP) bot for multiple take profit targets.

I set up the OCT bot with a SL or 10 pips and TP of 10 pips. Works fine, and I can drag it on top of my NinjaTrader chart that I use for TA.

I have installed the AP bot, set up the take profit targets, but when I click the buy or sell in the OCT, the advanced take profit levels and not being activated. The OCT SL and TP ARE activated and show on the cTrader chart.

Has anyone set this up and got it working? Paul is going to make a video of the setup, perhaps he wants to post it here?

Anyway, any advice on combining the two bots would be appreciated. I did create a new position and took the label that showed up in the transaction info, and added that label to the AP bot, but still no joy.

Hi, you need to tell me the symbol you were trading and what your onclick and advanced protection settings are, also, when you open the trade what your position size is. So I need the exact setup and steps you are doing and what you expected to happen

@Mike#888 Hi Mike - I'll get that info for you and take some screenshots. I'm currently testing it out in a demo account before deciding whether to buy the bots. Will get the info for you.

On what I expect to happen though. I expect that when I set up the TPs at say 3,7,10 pips with 33%,33% and 34% of position assigned to each, that when I hit the OCT buy or sell, the SL and 3 TPs I have set in ClickAlgo's Advanced Protection will be implemented and show on the cTrader chart. This is not happening, but I must be just missing a step. I can go into the cTrader Advanced Protection after taking a position and manually add those TP targets, although it seems one can only set those based on lot size, not % of position.

The 'Lightspeed-Managed' label added to the AP bot is taken from a trade I opened up with the OCT bot and grabbed from the information section of the open position. I believe from the AP video that this is what is required to trigger AP when using the OCT app?

Hi, I used the same settings and 1st target was hit with a 33% close, please see the image below.

The steps I followed were:

configure advanced protection.
start the cBot and went through license verification.
start the one-click terminal and configured the settings
using the one-click terminal I opened both a buy and sell position with 0.1 lots of 10K volume
when target 1 was reached it closed 33% and left 7K as shown in the image

@Mike#895 Cheers. So, did the AP put the 3 TP target lines on your chart? Every time I have tested it all I get on the chart is the OCT 10 pip SL and 10pip TP. No idea what I am doing wrong :-)

there are no target lines as this feature is not included, the TP and SL lines you see come from the platform itself for the hard stops or TP. All the terminal does is send a request to the platform to open a position.

Aha, seems like I was expecting to see the TP lines marked on the screen as when using the cTrader built in AP setup. It obviously does not do that. I just put on a trade and first target was hit, but TP line didn't show till afterwards.

Is that where I have been going wrong? Seems like it. Cheers for the help, hope I am on track now

@Mike#897 Thanks, that sorted my confusion. Out of interest, would it be possible to include features like 'reduce position size' by percentages on that One Click Terminal app? Would be a nice feature if one was manually scalping etc. Just a request :-)
