Hi
I'm still only in the trial, but really liking the products. One thing about the cTrader setup regarding closing positions.
It's odd. On other platforms I have used, inc Oanda, if you put on a buy position, you can close it out by hitting the sell button, assuming you are closing the entire position size.
This works great when you are scalping on a 70 tick chart or some similar timeframe. I usually work on a 10 pip TP and manually manage the trades, closing out the position on pullbacks to swing highs or lows along the way that would invalidate.
With cTrader, and obviously the ClickAlgo One Click Terminal which I am trialling, hitting the opposite button, so a sell when you are in a buy position, opens a 2nd position, not closes out the trade.
Even worse (correct me if I am wrong), cTrader doesn't seem to have an option to pop out the order panel to drag it to another position on the screen for easy closing of positions. This is an issue as I use NinjaTrader for my charting, and cTrader for actual entries.
I have mentioned in the suggestions forum that a 'close position' (and ideally, reduce position) buttons on the OCT would really make it ideal for fast timeframe scalping where you need control over your trade, ideally in close proximity to the chart price action. The OCT works great for this, cold just do with those extra features to make it fabulous.
If I am missing something that is currently available, please let me know.
Cheers
