Ctrader Freezing

I have placed on my ctrader platform a few indicators which I have downloaded from clickalgo however within seconds of me placing the indicators on ctrader my ctrader freezes. I am using a Laptop. They used to work perfect however for some reason they are starting to freeze my devices now. Im not sure if its due to the memory in the laptops or whether there may be a bug. I am using Ctrader 5.0.4 I would much appreciate if anybody could help me with this matter

What indicators are you using?

Have you checked the cBot log for errors?

Hi Sophia and Pipstar. Thankyou both for your replies to my query. The issue seems to be on all the indicators which I am using however the main ones which I use is the trading session indicator and the volume profile (not sure of the name however there are 6 different volume profiles in one) I tried changing the volume profile and using the volume profile by srlcarlg instead and at first it seemed to be ok but then by the following day it started doing the same thing. I thought the problem may be my computer so I downloaded ctrader on my laptop and ctrader worked perfect however as soon as I placed the indicators on the chart it started freezing on me again. I hope this has provided you both with more clarity.

Pipster, sorry I never answer your question. to be honest no I have not tried checking the cbot for errors. Could you please advise how to do this?

This sounds like you have an issue with your PC or cTrader installation; there are a lot of posts on the internet about this; it could even be your graphics card; here are some links to help you.

You can also send Spotware some troubleshooting info the next time this happens.

Hi Pipster, thankyou for your response. I was wandering whether this could be the problem thats why I installed it on my spare laptop but I got the same problem on that. Maybe it could be that the devices im using both of them is over 10 years old so maybe there not compatible. Ive got one more computer which I could install ctrader on and then the indicators and see if I have the same problem has thats a newer computer.

Uninstall all your cBots and indicators and add them one at a time; find out what's causing the problem, and also look at the cBot log for errors. I doubt all indicators will be causing the platform to freeze.

Hi Mike, what yove just said makes sence has initially ctrader was working perfect with the volume profile and the session indicator, it was once I started adding other indicators (though I very rarely use them) when it started to mess around. Ive never added any cbots just indicators. I shall try what youve just reccomended thankyou
