Hi Just purchased the risk calculator as I tested it couple couple of years or so ago but the way it operates has changed.
The issue I am finding is when I switch time frame on an instrument, the assistant pops up with a continue button to press and then the widget is no longer where I left it at bottom of screen, it is in the middle and has to be moved again. You used to be able to switch between time frames without this process when I first tested and is really a nuisance for me. I only bought for the 50% key essentially and it used to function well last time I used it around 2021/2022. Having to basically restart the bot each time I switch time frame is certainly not a feature upgrade as far as I am concerned. Couple this across across 10 instruments and my method of switching between time frames quite a lot it no longer serves the purpose it once did ? Can you alter it so it just runs on the instrument and does not stop when switching time frames please, I am 99.9% certain that is how it used to be. Thanks

Hi, this has been an issue with cTrader from day one, you cannot change the timeframe while a cBot is running on that chart. They may change this issue in the near future.

As a workaround you can open a chart for your symbol, attach the cBot and open another chart for the same symbol, this will allow you to both use the tool and change time frames.

Ok Thanks Mike, I really don't remember having this issue when I used it last time and I haven't changed my trading style in fact I used the trial period use of it to pass an FTMO challenge. I will have to request refund if this is the case as I don't have enough screen real estate for the workaround to suit me. Can you advise how I go about that please ? And please will you put pressure on Spotware as this is a clear issue and your software makes my job much easier but is next to useless for me personally if I can't switch. Thinking back I may have just stuck to 2 instruments when I used for FTMO and had mutiple timeframe tabs open which is perhaps why I didn't encounter the problem.
