Hi, below questions are for Polynomial Regression Channel (PRC). On your website, there are 3 products for PRC: indicator, signal bot, and auto-trade bot.

Q1) Your website says, for signal bot to work correctly, Clickalgo PRC indicator needs to be installed.
But if I use default PRC indicator in ctrader (and Not Clickalgo PRC indicator), will both bots (signal and auto-trade) still work?

Q2) Is it required to keep same PRC parameters for bots and PRC indicator on chart? If bot PRC parameters are different to PRC indicator on chart, will bot still work fine by following bot parameter settings to open/close positions?

Q3) Why is auto-trade bot called semi-automated bot? If it can open/close positions without manual intervention, what is semi-automated about it? If I want, can I use it as fully automated bot, and run on VPS?

Q4) By saying auto-trade bot as semi-automated, do you mean this: get alert from signal bot, then start auto-trade bot on that symbol?

Q5) On auto-trade bot, there is parameter for trading hours. Which timezone shall I use for trading hours parameters? Is it affected by time zone I set on ctrader platform bottom-right side?

Q6) If I chose Trailing Stop=No, then does it matter whats written in parameters Trailing Stop Trigger /Step?
If I chose Include Trading Hours=No, then does it matter whats written in parameters Trading Start/Stop Hours?

Q7) In auto-trade bot, if price touches desired band and opens position, but before touching TP, price moves above/below that band, will it open new position each time price touches that band?

Hi,

No, you need the ClickAlgo version of the indicator.

You do not need the indicator installed for the trading system to work, but its helpful for visual reference and to analyze the trades.

This trading system will automatically open and close trades, but as with all our trading systems, you cannot simply start the robot and do nothing, you as the trader need to manage the trades when there are market events that cannot be handled by the strategy.

No, the explanation above should answer this one.

Your PC time, unless you are backtesting and then it uses the server time UTC+0 which is where the servers are located for backtesting. https://clickalgo.com/backtest-trading-hours

If you turn the feature off, it will ignore the other settings

There are 2 settings, open and close on tick, if chosen then as soon as the price touches the bands it will open or close a trade, if you set these to no, then the system will wait until the candle closes before checking the signal again. it will only open a single trade for that direction.

No, you need the ClickAlgo version of the indicator.

Regarding Q1, I didn't download clickalgo PRC indicator, and tried to run both bots (signal bot and autotrade bot). Both bots worked fine without clickalgo PRC indicator. Are you sure, I need to download clickalgo PRC indicator for bots to work? I think, both bots have parameters that ask for PRC settings, so it seems clickalgo PRC indicator is not required?

There are 2 settings, open and close on tick, if chosen then as soon as the price touches the bands it will open or close a trade, if you set these to no, then the system will wait until the candle closes before checking the signal again.

Regarding Q7, my question was something else. Example: I tell autotrade bot to open position when price touch inner line, so it opens a position when price touches inner line. Then price keep fluctuating and move above/below inner line many times, before it touches TP. Does it mean, bot will open new position each time price was fluctuating above/below inner line?
I am assuming, bot will open only one position at a time, so will not open further new positions even if price is fluctuating above/below inner line, but still thought to confirm with experts.

No, you do not need to install the indicator, as I mentioned before it's just for visual reference.

Q2) For different timeframe charts (m5, h1, h4 etc), do you suggest using different PRC settings?

Q3) For different symbols (EURUSD, Gold, Dax etc), do you suggest using different PRC settings?

Q4) Is there any other regression channel indicator which doesn't repaint?

You will need to manually adjust.

You will need to experiment to find the best settings for the timeframe.

Q3) For different symbols (EURUSD, Gold, Dax etc), do you suggest using different PRC settings?

You will need to experiment to find the best settings for the symbol, they may not be the same settings for each symbol.

Q4) Is there any other regression channel indicator which doesn't repaint?

Not that I am aware of.
