Sluggish cTrader i9 Desktop Performance

Dear cTrader community,

I've been experiencing a very unacceptable cTrader performance on an i9-11900 / 32GB system.

@01:48 --> 20 seconds delay when transitioning from 1 chart per workspace to 50 charts per workspace
@02:18 --> 42 seconds delay when transitioning from trade menu to automate menu
@03:12 --> 45 seconds delay when transitioning from trade menu to automate menu
@04:10 --> 99 seconds delay when transitioning from 50 charts per workspace to 1 chart per workspace
@05:55 --> 29 seconds delay when transitioning from 1 chart per workspace to 50 charts per workspace
@06:31 --> 104 seconds delay when transitioning from 50 charts per workspace to 1 chart per workspace

This is a freshly installed W10 Pro machine with no bloatware. I'd be thankful for any insights you could share on why this might be happening.

Hi, John,

I also get a slow response using v4.1 when I click from the trade window to automate window as I have about 100 cBots, try and download the beta version of cTrader 4.2 to see if it is faster.

Thanks for your prompt reply and solution suggestion.

I have just tested cTrader 4.2 and it seems to solve the issue, bringing platform freeze times dramatically down to <1 second.

When will the v4.2 be rolled out as a production version to brokers?

You would need to ask Spotware who created the platform, but the brokers usually phase releases over the next few months, depending on if all bugs are fixed in the beta release.
