cTrader Smart-Grid Equity Stop

I am having problems now with the new update. It happens every other day or more often. Smart grid did not stop at the set amount (Equity profit stop) It stopped but it started trading right after. I am sending two pictures so you can see it. It starts position but closes the cbot. In the pictures you can see that it closes at 01.30 but starts two at 01.30.19. It has always been closed before a profit has been achieved.

Hi, We would need your cBot settings as a text file uploaded using the file upload option as well as the cBot log showing the equity stop being triggered and new trades opening after. Once the cBot stops due to an equity stop, the only way to restart it is to manually start the cBot.

This started about two weeks ago. Before that it was working perfectly for several months since I started it. Can't you set a delay on the Equity profit stop of 5 seconds so it doesn't close the cbot too early

This trade was last Friday and the cbot stopped after it made a profit of 2 euros at the red cross in the picture. But when it stopped, it made two additional trades. It has always closed and made no more trades. These last two trades are started but the cbot is closed. It doesn't feel good to let these two trades just run on

As I mentioned above you need to provide the information I requested

If an equity target is reached the cBot should stop and close all open positions.

I need the following:

cBot settings for EURUSD.
cBot log showing the cBot stopping and opening trades after it stopped.

Without the information, I cannot investigate further.

In the picture you see that the cbot closes at 06.35 but opens two positions just before it closes and these two positions only run without the cbot being activated

You provided the events information, I need the log information that shows the cBot stopping and new trades opening after it has stopped.

Possible Cause

After some further investigation, it looks like when the command to stop the cBot happens, there is a delay in stopping the cBot and trades can still be sent to the broker, please see the image below where the cBot was started, a signal to stop the cBot was given due to the equity target, but trades still opened before the cBot had a chance to stop.

If this behaviour was not in the previous version of cTrader then we need to fix this

I have changed this post to a bug report and will fix the issue

Do you need more information from me? It happened again today with two trades being opened after the profit was clear

We have just published an update to fix this issue, you can download it from your ClickAlgo account downloads.

To make sure you are using the correct version, in the cBot log you will see version number 2.8.0 with the last updated date of 25.08.2022
