Hey im on the trial of the NT8 Risk Management Tool and am facing some problems

If i open nt8, connect data and then open clickalgo tool it will say i have no connection and need to reconnect.
If i then reconnect, clickalgo will also connect, but wont count any trades but only show realized PnL.

What can I do?

Im not sure if the Trade Status panel only shows live open trades!? But for sure theres an issue w the daily PnL; it doenst change after a win/loss, the equity does tho... What can I do?

Make sure you have connected to the right broker account to see the account information, you can select this from the settings tab, and watch this video.

another example; its the 3rd trade im taking; still it didnt count any of the winners just showing the actual open position.

Can you share the Ninjatrader window where it shows your trades open, both winning and losing as well as the alarm manager window, so both together, so I can confirm the issue?

also, what do you mean by count any of the winners?

can you explain exactly the problem in detail?

With this tool, you will always need to connect to your broker when it starts, this is how it works.

so my problem is that after a winner the daily pnl remains at 0, but the equity balance changes. So its kinda not taking the initial starting balance of the day and measures x% to daily profit goal but actually takes this 12% for each single trade

Hi, are you saying that when a winning trade for the day closes, it is not showing in the daily PnL?

Your description of the problem is difficult to understand.

If you stop and restart the risk management tool it clears the daily PnL.

Please note that for the daily PnL value to change the trade must close, if it is open then its not your daily PnL, can you share the following information:

In the Ninjatrader position window take a screenshot showing a trade closed for the day.
The risk management tool's main dashboard view screenshot.

Do not close and restart the risk manager.

you may also not fully understand the feature, it will only show the Net realised profit after a trade has closed, it does not show your equity or balance.

This is the realised or how much profit you have made today after all the spread and commissions have been taken, this is your pure profit, if you leave the cBot running it will reset on the next day.

ohhhh i think you are right i got it wrong. So it is more a trade risk management tool aahhh so sad i thought it could stop you from trading when account reaches certain drop or increase in balance etc... Any chance you have such tool as well? Thanks for solving
