cTrader QuickFx Terminal - Spread Betting Accounts

when using https://clickalgo.com/ctrader-quickfx-trading-terminal on a pepperstone spreadbetting account where all the symbolds end in "_SB" the cbot won't load and the log shows "07/01/2021 20:09:27.912 | ClickAlgo QuickFx Terminal Trial, CADJPY_SB, h1 | Failed to get symbol 'EURUSD': symbol not found."

It can't fined EURUSD as it is titled EURUSD_SB

Works fine on a none pepperstone spreadbetting account.

I would really like make us of this cbots stop loss control features on a spreadbetting account

Hi, Mbbt,

Thank you for reporting this, but unfortunately, this product does not support spread-betting accounts, I had a quick look to see if we could do a quick fix and this is not possible as the symbol name is unique to Pepperstone and not industry standard. If on the other hand, more customers start requesting this feature to be added, we will review and update the product.

The error is caused because the broker does not have a symbol called EURUSD_SB on this account.

Did you try adding a new symbol name by typing EURUSD_SB and clicking on the + button?

But couldn't it be easily fixed by just changing the logic of the check for eurusd to also check for EURUSD_SB or something along those lines? or allow editing of the pair list before the check?

I really want buy this product and I am an existing customer who has bought a fair few items from you. If I could see the code I could probably fix it myself but just editing the default pair list, but it's not viewable from what I can see.

There is nothing different about pepperstone spread betting accounts within ctrader apart from how they label their pairs and all the other clickalgo bots and indiactors have worked fine.

I have managed to wangle my way around it to remove the items from the list so it will load on an account without eurusd pair
