The shortcoming I have found in using the tool is precisely the ability to change in the blink of an eye the type of order with which to enter the market. In intraday trading there is a need to alternately open market orders and pending orders quickly, to the same extent. And unfortunately this tool does not allow that. I frequently start it to enter the market only to find out that the "order type" parameter is set to "stop," or I start it to place a pending order and find that it is set to "market," resulting in wasting valuable time going into settings to change the order type. Obviously it is unthinkable to set the order type in advance (unless you are doing long-term trading), since in intraday trading it would be necessary to change settings every five minutes. And that is absolutely impracticable.
So the ideal would be to be able to change the type of order directly from the GUI. Three buttons in plain view, to be clicked quickly as often as needed, that would allow the user to select in the fraction of a second which of the three available orders to use to enter the market.
This may probably all seem superfluous to those who do not use it or use it only for long-term trading. But it is something you will absolutely miss only after using it for a long time every day for intraday trading. Try it to believe.
