Hello,

Since Ctrader from icmarkets was updated to version 4.2.22 i have huge problem with this product...

1) I've been using older version called guardian-angel, which is tottaly not compatible with newer c-trader version. When i'm trying to launch it, c-trader freezes and it doesnt work.

2) I figured out - damn there must be a newer version, and indeed it was. Called clickAlggo Risk assistance. Great i managed to launch it - but it's bugged as well. I mean - the alarms work only once ! I mean they don't go to "off" position, but alarm will not be activated again, untill you manually restart the cbot.

I have it on VPN, and so far it worked just good. Please do something about it. I'm a day trader, and it's firtst time since few years when i started to set TP and SL manually. :):)

FYI, i have just noticed, that there's newer version of Ctrader 4.3.12. It can be downloaded from ctrader website. On ic markets there's still only 4.2.22.

I'll let you know later, if this bugs is still present in newer version of platform.

well, the bug still exist in version 4.3.12. Alarms work only once...

I hope somone from clickalgo will finally reply - at this point i'm so dissapointed, that i'm ready to hire a programmer, pay for similar solution and share with everone for free. This is simply not normal situation.

Hi, we usually reply here within 24 hours between working hours in the UK, you only posted 3 hours ago, so please be patient.

Have you managed to read the user guide for the latest version, the alarms will turn off once an event happens as this is the behaviour of the product, you can keep the alarms on by adjusting the keep alarms alive setting for VPS mode.

The new version of cTrader affected most of the 3rd party indicators and cBots for everyone and we have been fixing them as they are reported, this product has been upgraded for v4.2 of cTrader.

I would also download the latest version from your account downloads, the latest version is v2.3

Please note alarms will only occur once until the event happens again, they will not keep sending an alert, if you still have a problem, provide the name of a single alarm together with your settings and we will investigate. Also, no customer has reported any issues with this product since they last update of cTrader a few months ago.

Hello Mike,
Thanks for quick answer. I'm using the guardian angel almost since you guys created it, so believe me, i know how to set it up.

The keep alarms alive button is set on in setting for VPS mode...
The bug works like that, when the alaram is activated once ( profit hits the target, or magin drops below my value), then it stops to work. The buttons stays in green "ON" field, but the cbot does nothing - as it was turned off.

As i mentioned in first post, after first problems, i figured out that there must be newer version and i did install it.

You can test it and see.

I've reinstalled everything once again (platform, and downloaded again cbot) right now.
Will let you know later if that helped.

It's strange that noone reported that problem before.

Morning, I can see you have do nothing as the event, the alarms will not turn off if this is set to do nothing.

Can you pick a single alarm event that you feel is not working as I mentioned in the previous post, provide the event for it and the trigger value and I will investigate further.

Mike, but it's not "do nothing". Im using only 2 alarms. Margin drop below lvl, and balance inreased by %. Both of the alarms have set "close all positions" and it works, but only once despite right VPN settings.

ok, if we pick a single alarm, the balance has increased by 21%, if your balance increases by 21% your positions will close, and the alarm will not turn off if you have the Keep alarms alive setting checked, instead, the system will reset and the balance will need to increase another 21% for a new event.

So to recap, the alarms do not turn off, but stay on and reset in memory when an event occurs.

Are you saying your balance achieved a 21% gain and all of the trades closed and when the balance increased another 21% the trades did not close?

The same goes with the 2nd alarm, when margin drop below o certain level, trade is closed, and the alarm stays alive, but it would not work again, i mean when margin drop below that 66%, nothing happens. Im still in my trades, but i will launch some penny account to show that.

OK, i made a test on Penny account. After it hit a target 5%, it got freezed. Notice the difference in equity show in ctrader and Guardian angel. Actually that's something new. Earlier it didn't freeze, just didn't worki.

This is a seperate issue, you need to create a new thread. I will investigate the reactivation of the alarm mentioned above in this thread.

Found a possible issue and working on a fix, we had to update a large part of the code-base due to the latest update of cTrader that caused many 3rd party products to stop working for everyone.
