I hope this message finds you well. I would like to share my experience and request your expertise regarding a specific situation I have encountered while using SmartGrid in combination with the Dinapoli Stochastic indicator. Below, I outline the key points:

I have conducted an in-depth analysis to filter the trend of the figure presented, noting a strong bullish divergence in the Dinapoli Stochastic indicator.
I have employed my most effective strategies, based on over 100 simulations. The strategy that has proven to be the safest and most effective involves using the HMA in the same timeframe as Dinapoli.
However, I have observed that the HMA does not consistently filter the price trend as it adjusts too closely to price fluctuations. This can lead to Dinapoli opening trades against the trend.
I have experimented with various timeframes, including 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, and a day. I've also explored confirmations from the Stochastic indicator at 8 hours, 12 hours, and daily intervals.
The optimization range parameters used are as recommended: Fast%K:[5,21], Slow%K:[3,7], Slow%D:[3,7], cross over distance [1-10], no close position, automated take profit, stop loss 70-100, and an HMA.
I have conducted simulations in different weeks to ensure that the results are random and representative. However, during a specific week for the USDCHF pair, a bullish trend has emerged that none of the ATR filters [1,min,5min,15min,1hour,4hour,1day], combined with HMA [7-50], has effectively filtered.
I acknowledge that no system is perfect and I highly value the effectiveness of SmartGrid as a product. In fact, I consider it superior to any solution I could have developed on my own. I seek your guidance and recommendations, given your deep knowledge of the product. I suggest exploring alternatives such as using an alternative trend indicator like EMA or verifying cross or window parameters that could detect divergences and enhance the system's ability to address similar situations.

It seems that what I observed is that Smart Grid usage is specially designed for range-bound areas, as strong trends lead to divergences, and then the cross over filters divergence signals into bullish events, if I'm not mistaken.

P.P.S.
Another observation is that if the market shows a strong trending behavior, the crossover will increase. In the highlighted image, it can provide more than 10 crosses or false sell signals in the presence of a bullish divergence or a bearish divergence. It seems that USDCHF exhibited a highly trending market during the training data, so by optimizing that parameter, the number of crossovers increased. On the other hand, in other less trending markets on a one-hour timeframe, the number of crosses may be lower due to the weaker trends and smaller divergences.
